How it works.

Contrast therapy is a scientifically-backed approach to physical & mental recovery, alternating between the intense heat of the sauna or hot tub and the refreshing chill of the cold plunge, activating the body's natural recovery mechanisms. During sessions, the sauna deeply warms the body, enhancing circulation and encouraging the elimination of toxins. Then the cold plunge invigorates, rapidly cooling the body to stimulate blood flow and reduce inflammation. This dynamic process rejuvenates cells, bolsters the immune system, and amplifies the body and mind’s resilience. Transitioning between these extremes not only aids in muscle recovery and detoxification but also fosters profound stress relief and relaxation, cultivating an overall sense of well-being and vitality.

We believe in the power of community and have built the studio to reflect as such. We can accommodate up to 15 adults at once utilizing the amenities, with additional space for yoga and stretching. As the official recovery partner of the New England Free Jacks rugby team and home to many professional hockey, soccer, and basketball players you never know who you'll recover with! We ask all members to be respectful of one another during their session.
